3 cups of white sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar

I got a craving for this stuff that my mom occasionally had or made. I concocted this. It has a beautiful color and great on eggs or as a base for other sauces.

The Lion’s of Zion
One of my minor hobbies recently has been snapping pictures of folks wearing the “Lion of Zion” T-shirt, which I designed for KRCL FM at age 20.
I have to admit I coined a classic. Not my best design, But It is to Reggae in Salt Lake City, as a CBGB shirt would be to Punk in New York.
I don’t know what I love most about siting the shirt (ususally the black version,) the ratty condition of most [I only printed these myself in the mid-80s.] — or the long haired, dreadlocked hippies — the dankest of the crowd that use it as a uniform.
I snapped the guitar hero above at Red Butte Garden, Thursday. A volunteer there told me she sees them every show, and counted four different people wearing them at one show this summer.
