5 lbs. Tomatoes, blanched and skinned
1 lbs Anaheim peppers roasted
1 lb. white onion finely chopped.
2 cups cider vinegar
2 cups white vinegar
5 tsp sea salt
1 tsp cinnamon
2 tsp curry powder
1 tsp allspice
1 tsp mustard powder
1 tsp chili powder
1 tsp whole cloves
1 tsp tabasco/similar sauce
2 tbsp chipolte pepper
3 cups of white sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
3 tbsp honey
—Cook for 2 hours, puree as neccesary.
I got a craving for this stuff that my mom occasionally had or made. I concocted this. It has a beautiful color and great on eggs or as a base for other sauces.
